Shibari (also known as kinkabu or kinbaku-bi) is a Japanese bondage technique that lends itself to my photography. It's about using ropes to create almost geometric patterns and shapes that contrast wonderfully with the female body's natural curves and recesses.

Visually, the tight ropes and their texture provide a counterpoint to smooth skin and the curves of breasts and buttocks. The hard edges of the rope pick up on and accentuate the hardness of the nipples - further reinforcing the softness of the body's graceful shape.

Models I've worked with talk about feeling clothed yet thoroughly naked - all at the same time.
